Q. What kind of security is there on the park?
A. We take security on the park very seriously. Precautions include card-operated barrier, CCTV and a private entrance road.
Q. Can I sublet?
A. Subletting is not permitted, although your family and friends are always very welcome to stay if they pay our normal rates.
Q. Can I rent a caravan?
A. Yes, the park has caravans available for hire, please contact the sales office for more information.
Q. Are there shops nearby?
A. Yes, we’re only a five-minute drive from a retail park, and many pubs and restaurants. Excellent bus and train links are all on our doorstep. For more details, please refer to the brochure.
Q. Can I bring my pets?
A. Yes, Colchester is a pet-friendly park. We have people with cats and dogs, – we welcome all RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERS.
Q. How long are we allowed to stay in our / caravan?
A. We are a holiday park with a holiday licence. For caravans and camping we have a 12-month season.
Q. Do I get an agreement?
A. Yes. We use the code of practice and licence agreement developed and approved by the BH & HPA and the NCC.
Q. What if I want to put a washing machine or any other electrical appliances in my new caravan?
A. Remember, a caravan is a holiday home and does not have a domestic electricity supply, so washing machines and domestic electrical appliances are not allowed on site.
